Eff Yourself...

I'm holding my friend Katie personally responsible for these two being let into our old alma mater. I thought you were a responsible democrat? I didn't even know until Bethie told me. What the hell? What do they want at my school? I'm just a small town girl. Go to Cleveland and stir up those people. I am aphalled that my town is going to rally for McCain. *shudder*

I'm not blogging live today. So I can't tell you how fabulous my night with the manfriend was. Or how right now I'm probably watching him do something sex-muffinish like work on his car. I can tell you that all this week I have been working out twice a day for the second week. An hour and a half a day. And, I lost 5 lbs. Five is fabulous for me because I eat a lot of cheese and potatos.

Latley when I'm working out AFTER work, for the SECOND time, and my LEGS are killing me and my feet have blisters on my blisters...I think to myself, is it worth eating that crap? Then I say to myself....yes. Unfortunatley it is. I'm thinking soon, I'll be fed up with working out so hard. You can't do this shit forever. It consumes your damned life.

I watched this episode of Oprah the other day. I remember hearing about Michael Crowe when it happened. She asked the question, would you be able to be coerced into admitting you committed a crime you didn't commit? I would like to think I wouldn't but you can't know that. I can say that I have been so mentally exhausted from asshole men accusing me of things I didn't do, that I have admitted to things I never did to shut them up. And, they don't have the ability to put me in jail.

I had been accused of cheating in several arguments, over several months, over...and over.....and over....and over....that eventually, I cheated. Thinking of those arguements makes my body and mind feel heavy and tired. I would never in a billion years get back into a relationship where I am manipulated that way, while they are the ones cheating on you. Thank god for self awareness!

Do you think you would admit to a murder you didn't commit? Michael Crowe was told he did it for hours and days. And he was a teenager. He started to doubt himself, he thought "maybe I'm crazy".

And most importantly, do you have a no fail way to boil eggs? I seem to over and under cook them repeatedly. I have been having them before and after workouts, which really helps my hunger, and energy, but their not so delicious when not cooked properly.

Hello,
Put your egg's in a pan of water and let them boil for ten minutes. Once done drain the water and take an egg and spin it on the counter. Stop the egg quickly, if the egg continues to spin it is not done.(the yolk spinning in the egg makes the whole egg spin) If the egg stops and does not spin anymore it is done. :-)

You can rarely overcook a boiled egg unless of course you run out of water and burn it. Simple put it in tepid water when you first fill the pan. Then heat to a boil with the egg still in there. Cook for 10 minutes and turn the stove off but don't remove the egg yet. After about 5 minutes you'll have a perfectly cooked egg. The key is to put the egg in before you boil the water so when the water warms up the egg will as well.

And WTG on the 5 pounds lost!! WOOOHOOO!!

My mom told me that I should put the egg in the water right off the bat. Set the stove on high. When the water reaches a boil, the egg is done. I don't know. I've never tried it. I just boil mine for 15 minutes.

Congrats on the weight loss. I've lost 10 pounds but the past two days, I've been eating non stop. Grrr. My coworker said it's because it's cold and somehow our bodies must have some primal hibernation instinct or something. I like that excuse. That's the one I'm going with. :)

1. Use at least week old eggs, never fresh.
2. Place the eggs in a big enough pot so that there is sufficient space between them.
3. Cover them with cold water, enough to give you about an inch of water over the top of the eggs.
4. Place the pot (COVERED) on the stove and turn it on high.
5. DO NOT WALK AWAY.
6. In about five to six minutes (maybe longer), the water will begin to boil. Start lifting the lid to check on it.
7. As soon as it begins to rapidly boil (looks like Armageddon...very large bubbles and steam), remove it from the burner, LEAVING THE LID ON.
8. Set a timer for 30 minutes and let the pot sit covered.
9. After 30 minutes, using tongs, transfer the eggs to a bowl of water with several ice cubes in it.
10. Set the timer for 25 minutes.
11. You can now color your eggs or eat them or refrigerate them.

Trust me! This method makes PERFECT hard boiled eggs. There is a whole science with gases and sulfur and expanding and shrinking behind this. The shell will peel perfectly. The egg will be perfectly cooked with bright yellow yolks that have not dried or turned that ugly greenish grey color.

I am in the abyss of God knows what. I can't even dig myself out with a backhoe, but I did take the time to call the Superintendent and bitch. They rented the stadium but there is still an issue with the interview that took place in the school and the fact that students were basically forced to go. Those damn Republicans here in Green loved it. I can't turn my back for a minute until they are stomping all over someone's civil rights. All I can say is Republicans don't pass school levies and Green is putting one on the ballet in May. Say bye-bye school levy!
