Mean Girls..

I left my clothes in the washer overnight, and tried to dry out the musty stench but I still smell me. I sprayed a ton of spray on me, so once that wears off I'm doomed. I think I ate some bad chicken at the Yankee Peddler this weekend. I spent yesterday with pain from my toes to my hair. Puking. I ate like 3 bites of this nasty chicken kabob. It was weird chicken. I only like the breast. Bleh. I'll write about that later in the week. I got some good pictures. Like, of Kat, who was afraid to go in the butterfly exhibit, so she stood outside.

We joined a new video rental joint, because they lured us in with an advertisement. Buy one get one free rentals for new customers for 30 days. It's unlimited. You know theres a catch, right? We went to rent movies, and had 6 movies picked out. You get them for a whopping 3 days, but we burn them and watch them later.

The checkout dude told us "for the first few weeks a new customer rents, we like to build good faith and ask that you only rent 2 movies". Huh? So first of all, we spent 1/2 hour picking out movies for no reason, cus, this isn't advertised. All I have to say is screw Family Video, I'm sticking to the Movie Gallery. Thanks.

Since I get all my information from TV, I watched Dateline last week about 'mean girls'. It made me really happy I'm 30 years old, and not in high school, nor do I have kids that will be in high school. It never even occured to me the lengths you can now go to, to ruin someones life. They are putting pictures of the ugliest, most hated, biggest whores online, mainly myspace. Altering text messages, pictures and IM's and sending them to the person they are talking about, and starting fights with different people.

Um, no thanks...and good luck to all of you who will have teenagers. I thought it was bad when I read a note where someone said mean things about me, or dumped me. Now, that shit is online for your whole school to read? My advice to the youth of the world? Go into psychology. Something tells me this is going to be the #1 profession soon.

Hey! Have you seen the previews for the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre? I dunno about you all, but that's one of my all time favorite horror flicks! I really hope they don't go and ruin it. I think the re-make was awesome.

I don't look forward to my daughter's teenage years for this reason. Kids seem to be so cruel these days.

Kids can be so mean sometimes. I say they strictly enforce the bully-free laws. Even if it includes spreading rumors. It's time to pay kids! People need to teach their kids about not being mean to other and let them put themselves in their shoes before they do it to others and maybe even say to them how would like it if they were doing this to you or one of your siblings.
So Kat's afraid of butterflies? Aww!

Aw man that happened to my towels and every time I used one in that batch, no matter how clean I was, I still felt like I smelled musty. People are cruel in Highschool to begin with. I would have died if things were online. I remember this one girl befriended me and I asked her to sleep over my house (bad mistake). The whole next Monday she took her experience at my house to the bus, where every one teased me for having a canopy bed....it was stupid. What a bitch. I hope she has warts coming out of her nose and really bad split ends now!!!!

Now you got me started on movie rentals! One place tried to charge me $50 for a "never returned" movie. Turns out I HAD returned it (or so I thought) but the case was empty! 6 months LATER, I got a letter from a collection agency about it! I went in to the store and tried to discuss the situation with a manager, but they never budged. 2 years later I finally found the movie (at the bottom of a moving box) and KEPT it! Why would they wait 6 MONTHS to tell me I had returned an empty box?
Then, Blockbuster NEVER checks their deposit boxes & I've been charged 8 or 10 times for movies that were "late." Finally, I just said "screw it" and stopped going there. I'm sure I still owe them about $20!
Now, we're strictly Movie Gallery customers. And, we've never had ANY problems with them (3 years strong)! We have deals for 1 free rental on Wed (with student ID), and I'm always getting coupons for "rent one, get one free." Oh, and they have that "$1 credit" on new movies (if you return them the next day)! I *heart* Movie Gallery!

I'll just stick with the "movie rental" topic, I HATE mean girls! And, boy, oh boy, do I have some stories!

It's Just Me, Celina, but this thing won't let me comment...so I'll try it "anonymously."

Ain't it amazing how every generation finds new ways to torture and ridicule others?:(

I totally agree! Something has to be done, it was really sad to see the kids that commited suicide because they were bullied. Yes, Kat classifies it as any other insect. LOL.

R:
What was wrong with a canopy bed? everyone wanted a canopy bed. She was probably jealous. That's usually people tease I think.

Celina:
Sometimes it wont let me comment on peoples blogs as myself...I have to do it anonymousely and use my name. I dunno wtf they are doing latley! Yeaaaa, movie gallery gives out coupons! And you get a free older rental, and their open late, and you get the movies for 5 days. I love it.

Janet:
Seriously! I hate to see how things are when I'm old and gray!
