Happiness is...a Dear John Letter...

Ladies night was a success as usual. We've been doing a monthly get together, and everyone brings new friends, and you meet new people. I went from having only one day planned this weekend, to now having my weekend jam packed full of fun girlie things to do!

The best part of the night for me, was when I was talking to a new girl about being dumped, as she is recently divorced. She asked what happened..so.

I let one of the girls narrate my dear john letter from exmanfriend to the group. (yes, you have to click and read that if you missed it...) the comments "seriously, you are glad he's gone, right?" "after three years he wrote you a letter?" "who the hell is MOJO? his CAT? Did he really blame his CAT?" "He doesn't know what the hell he wants" "you deserve so much more than that" "He dumped you on FACEBOOK? Is he 12?" "He did you the biggest favor, you'll see that".

All made me laugh and realize that yes...I am a wonderful lady. Who didn't deserve to get dumped, let alone, the way he dumped me. And I am going to be so much better off when my real prince comes along.

It's important to have girlfriends. A slap in the face is easier when you have people to pick you up.

I thought the very same things when I read that letter. You are better off without him. What is he 12? I love that.

it reminded me of the episode of sex and the city when she got dumped on a post it note. i guess at least i got a typed full page letter. and it was way lamer than a post it note!

I love girlfriends! Bex and Snow have gotten me through so much the past five years. I feel like I owe them my life.

so, is that letter real? Mojo?

I just read his breakup letter. Literally, unbelievable! Mojo.....he blamed it on Mojo. Please tell me he is an animal psychiatrist.

But wait also, had he never driven down to your place before? He just started to realize how far away it was? Planters? Do u mean nuts?

Did you throw up when you read that. I hope you didn't cry! Hay letter is worth gold for boosting your confidence. Some people just have to remember and replay the bad things someone did to hurt them in order to propel them into the right direction.

You have a comedic letter! That you can use to induce laughter, and remind you of all the wasted effort you put into this guy!

The guy is so clueless, he probably doesn't even realize that Mojo was looking forward to the new situation! Now Mojo probably ignores him on a daily basis.

What a nincumpoop (awesome insult).

its 100% real! I think it speaks for itself, he's a sociopath, i mean who does that? you can't make that stuff up! Even a simple "its not you, its me" would've been better.

mr yes:
no, hes just a run of the mill guy who doesnt know how to be on his own, and doesnt know a good thing when its wrapped up in a cute package (me!) and prefers a skank who screwed around with him while he was w/me and she had a bf too, because she lived closer. obvy this is the only criteria you need to date him.

classy!

yea, we spent almost 3 yrs driving 60 miles, and I moved in Dec 30 miles closer. then HE decided to move in with ME and then "changed his mind" mid move.

the best part is I gave him mojo, and I have 4 cats who are my babies, and I treated her the same, they wouldve been in kitty bliss, but shes an easy "out" just as "distance" was the first time.

It does make me laugh now when i read it, because its nonsensical!
