I don't know that I've mentioned how completely and totally at peace I feel in my life after 6 months of constant anxiousness, sleeplessness, and heartache. I'm happy to be out of that spot for sure! And I hope to continue to do so!
On to better things. Like, the Four Loko ban in Ohio. (and other states that I don't live in so therefore could care less about) Can I live my life without this delicious $2 drink? Sure! But that should be my choice. Not the FDA's. Do the ingredients kill people? I have them all the time. I'm sorry people drink too much and died, but I guess then I'm also sorry that the homeless guy at the intersection near home is homeless because he probably drinks too much too. Only I bet its not Four Loko. It's probably something way stronger! Like whiskey.
I am also sad that countless people die in alchohol related deaths, and accidents each year, but that is all a result of people not knowing their limits, making mistakes. People die, but until we are all walking around in bubbles, thats the way this life goes.
You take your own life into your hands every time you step out the door. Birds could poke your eyes out! You could fall down the stairs! A wild dog could attack you! Vampires could stalk you! So, should we have birds' beaks cut off? Pad all the stairs? Kill all the dogs? (not the puppies!) And battle vampires?
My beef with this is mostly that more and more choices are being taken away from us. I'm not really political, but I'm also no dummy. I have to pay an extra tax to tan, because its not good for me. The 1500 warnings posted in the salon didn't tell me that, so I have to pay more ...to drive the point home. It has nothing to do with making anyone richer.
I smoke, so I pay like $5 in taxes per pack of cigarettes, but thats my choice. I know they are dangerous. Kids are going to take the new reformulated Four Loko, and add red bull to it. Probably more than is already in the pre packaged drink, and more will die. And then who's fault is that? Red bull? Or the kids? When do things become a persons responsibility?
Is it the Honda's fault Joe Schmoe lost control and crashed into a family? Or is it a horrible mistake made by Joe?
You know what they are doing these days? Besides buying up all the sudafed, and making ME feel conspicuous when I have to sign for this LEGAL drug at the pharmacy counter, and wonder how many times is too many before I'm flagged as a meth head?
Their huffing fermented poop to get high.
Look for poop to be banned soon. You will all be ordered to stop pooping, because kids could steal your old poop and sniff it until they are in such a poop stupor, that they probably die. When I was a stupid kid, we took cold tablets. I bet if you take enough cold tablets you can die. So everyone should have to suffer with colds, and have them banned? Please.
Too much of anything is bad. I think you learn this the first time you eat a whole package of zero bars in a day. Or a whole gallon of ice cream. Or a whole two liter of coke. Or drink beer, and wine, and vodka, and pucker, and you get so sick first you eat some guy on the streets chili cheese fries in the flats of Cleveland of all places....and then your Mom has to pick you up cus even your own husband abandoned you to wallow in your own puke. What? You havn't done those things?

Don't Evade Your Taxes...

So the saga goes with my taxes as such. You know, I pay my federal taxes, I pay my state taxes, I pay my city taxes, and then, I have to pay another city income tax because I live in a stupid fucked up city that makes you pay more taxes for living there.
Only, they dont take it out of your check they make you pay it out of your pocket. I've lived there since 2005, and I owe them from that year. I paid on it here and there.
Back up. I use to work two jobs for 4 years. Because of that I owed a buttload in taxes...you know because i worked two jobs to get ahead, and thats the american way....I ended up in more debt. I paid off my federal, and this year actually got a refund. (holla)
City? Notsomuch. I think its crap so I avoid paying it. I paid it here and there, but the there became more prevelant, and eventually they sent my case to court.
Where I was informed via a summons, and when I called them, they told me I couldn't contest it unless I thought I was wrongfully charged. Which...I wasn't I owed the money. Even if it was wrong.
They said they'll send me a letter to make payments, or they will garnish my wages. So I've been anxiously awaiting said papers. They came.
By payments they mean, I can pay 25% of my paycheck to them. Mind you, I don't have 25% of my paycheck after bills to myself, so how can I pay that to them?
The second option is to let them garnish my wages. Somehow they come up with this figure, garnishment is 60 times the federal minimum wage rate. (because I'm paid bi-weekly....otherwise its more) so, thats almost $500.
Have I mentioned I owe a mere $611? While it doesn't seem like much, I have no savings. I live check to check.
On top of this bullshit, I got a letter from Chase visa that they closed my account. That I've paid over on and never late for 4 years. The reason? My other cards are too close to their limits. They are, because I've been transferring money from my Chase (at 29% interest) onto the smaller rates to pay it off. I had over 1500 free on my chase visa. Now, that will go against my credit.
Manfriend offered to help me if I needed it. He's super cute and it's very thoughtful, but I have a hard time letting anyone help me. Thus my working two jobs for 4 years. I am uncomfortable when other people pay for me to do things too, I dont like to be a mooch! I'm trying to find a job to take on for a while. This is nuts. I make good money, and I'm in trouble.
That's what's wrong with the world today.
The moral of this story is pay your taxes.

Even though its a crock of shit, that you pay triple taxes on money you earn. And then move out of the city that makes you pay stupid taxes, and go to another city, where e-check seems like small potatos in comparison. That is the only perk of living in my county. I'm beginning to favor traffic noise, over listening to dirt bikes all day/night in the woods.
And then, take up a collection with me and buy an island, where non of this bullshit will happen to any of us! Come on!

On The Fly
Well, I'm so hella-busy these days that I didn't even have time to post I'm coming live from Thursday afternoon. Thursday came from Tuesday. What the hell? This means:
1) I'm still employed
2) Business is good and we're beating the competition
3) I'll get paid next Friday
4) I should buy myself jewelry from the employee store. But I wont.
5) I'm pretty awesome in general.
Changes about our "Grille" at work I don't like.
1) It costs $1.99 to buy two hard boiled eggs, when I can get a whole dozen for 80 cents.
2) A small plastic (about 12 oz) cup of grapes costs $2.59, when at Giant eagle, I can get a whole pound for $99.
3) It costs me 85 cents for gross coffee, when it use to cost me 50 cents for good coffee. IN MY OWN CUP!
4) They use real eggs instead of egg beaters. Euw.
5) They don't have turkey sausage links anymore. Only patties. And they are gross and have those hard balls in them that real sausage has. *shudder*
6) They have a shelf of fruit in bowls like apples, bananas, and oranges and have a label "large fruit, $.89". But, won't sell me a whole pineapple on that shelf for the same price.
They moved the pineapples. Dicks.
Big news is, my Momma drove home from city hospital to her house. She followed me in her own car. She hasn't driven since her accident. That's big news.
In also big news, the manfriend is having a toga party January 30. If I know you, and you wanna come you let me know (fizzgigabyte@yahoo.com) . Invites will be out later. It will probably cost $10 and you'll get something for that like food. And, the honor of seeing me in a toga. C'mon, that's gonna be flippin sweet! I promise I wont party out early either. And, if I drink enough I'll even initiate the "gator". Hopefully everyone will follow suit. And not look at me like I'm a total idiot.
Oh, and I'm sure that I'm happy it's Friday!
