A Poll...

I can't elaborate right now as to the why, but I need to know the answer to this...

When buying a record, what is the normal speed?

Like, I remember I had 45's of puff the magic dragon. But what would the entire album be?

Is it a 33?

It's quite important.

33 and 1/3 RPMs. 45 for singles. 78s were common in the first half of the century, but it's hard to even find a player with that speed anymore.

  4. I was gonna answer, but Russ beat me to it. Heck, I didn't even have to go upstairs and look at the record player to remember the speeds :) Got a big vinyl collection and I haven't got around to dubbing them all to cds yet.

I'm old... and another b-day just went by at lightspeed.
